After exchanging the vows on 31 December 2016, the Real Housewives of New York City star, Luann de Lesseps and her businessman husband, Tom D'Agostino have called it quits and announced that they are getting the divorce.

Their split news was actually announced by Lesseps through a tweet on Thursday, 3rd August. Here's that tweet, check it out.

So, what's the reason?

Well, friends of the 52-year-old actress said that she began investigating Tom after she was shown a picture of Tom D'Agostino Jr kissing another woman by his ex-girlfriend as well as her co-star, Ramona Singer.

Later, when Lesseps uncovered more evidence of his extramarital affairs last month, she confronted Tom in a New York restaurant and sparked a physical fight as Lesseps slapped him.

Additionally, as per reports, Tom also met up with his ex-girlfriend when Tom and his wife Lesseps were on their recent trip to the Hamptons. Tom left Lesseps to attend co-star Jill Zarin's annual luncheon without him.

All these things ultimately became the reason that Lesseps filed for divorce with her husband.
