Luke Perry Hospitalized After Suffering Stroke at Los Angeles Home

Luke Perry was hospitalized after suffering a massive stroke on Wednesday, February 27, multiple sources have confirmed.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum suffered the heart attack at his home in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Noting that doctors are not placing the television personality in a medically induced coma, his representative said, "Mr. Perry is currently under observation at the hospital".

A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson confirms to the publication that paramedics responded to the residence of the actor, 52, at approx. 9:40 a.m. after they received a 911 call.

He was taken to a nearby hospital in an ambulance. It's unclear in what condition Perry currently is.

His hospitalization comes on the same day when Fox announced a quasi-revival of Beverly Hills, 90210 which will have six episodes.

He portrayed Dylan McKay on the Fox hit series for its 10 seasons in the 1990s. However, the upcoming series will not be attached to the previous one.

Only seven original cast members, including Perry, are set to return on the show: Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Gabrielle CarterisIan Ziering, Tori Spelling and Brian Austin Green.
