When Mac was in high school, he fell in love with one of high school girl. They dated each other for about four years and they finally broke up in April 2013. He also revealed that most of the songs on his 17th mix tape, Macadelic was for her.
Mac joined Winchester Thurston School when he was child. After that he got enrolled at Taylor Allderdice High School. While he was in his high school days, he used to play all the sports. But later when he reached 15, he got a sudden change in his interest. He became more attracted towards hip hop. He began playing piano, drums, guitar and bass. He also established himself as a musician. He released his debut mix tape, But My Mackin' Ain't Easy in 2007. That year, he also joined the rap group The Ill Spoken. In 2008, The Ill Spoken released their mix tape, How High. On 8th of November 2011, he released his debut studio album, Blue Slide Park. His net worth is said to be around $6 million.
