Started raising her vioce about Education Rights

Malala's father, Ziauddin Yousafzai, who himself is an educational activist, poet and school owner, motivated her to be a politician. Malala started raising her voice about education rights in Peshawar's local club in September 2008 asking whole audiences "How dare the Taliban take away my basic right to education?”

2011

Received Pakistan’s National Youth Peace Prize

Malala Yousafzai starting as a BBC Blogger and wrote about Taliban Influence over her place and girls banned from school. In 2011, she won Pakistan’s National Youth Peace Prize, and was also nominated for International Children's Peace Prize.

Shot by a Taliban Gunman

Due to her activity against Taliban, Taliban threatened her to her death. It was October 9, 2012 on the way to home from school, Taliban bordered the bus and the gunman shot Malala on left head. But she survived successfully.

Started attending Edgbaston High School

Malala attended Khushal Public School till 2012. After, she was shot by Taliban gunman and survived. She had no major brain damage. She is now getting her higher education from Edgbaston High School in Birmingham, England from March, 2013.

Published her Autobiography

Malala Yousafzai has also written a book named I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban, which was released in October 2013. She also gave speech at the United Nations in her sixteenth birthday in 2013.

Won Nobel Peace Prize

Malala was nominated for second time for Nobel Peace Prize in 2014. She along with Indian children's rights activist Kailash Satyarthi received the award in October, 2014. She received the award at the age of seventeen which makes her youngest person to receive the Nobel Prize.
