Mark Consuelos is a Spanish-born American actor who is widely known for his role as Mateo on the soap opera All My Children. He was born on March 30, 1971, to his father, Saul, and mother, Camilla Consuelos and grew up with his brother Dr. Michael Consuelos, a Lehigh Valley Hospital pediatrician and sister, a lawyer.
Consuelos's father is a Mexican while his mother is an Italian. He enrolled at Bloomingdale High School, Valrico Florida. He then gained his marketing degree from the University of South Florida in 1994. Later, he joined the University of Notre Dame.
