Martin Garrix is an emerging talented music artist from the Netherlands. He is a DJ, composer, musician as well as a record producer. He is mainly famous from his own track Animals. Garrixx is also the founder of STMPD RCRDS and currently is signed with Sony Music.
Martin Garrix was born as Martijn Gerard Garritsen in Amstelveen, the Netherlands to Dutch parents. He was also raised in Amstelveen. His nationality is Dutch. He started learning guitar at the age of 8 and after seeing Tiesto performing at 2004 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony in Athens, he decided to follow the path of a DJ.
The 2003 graduate of Herman Brood Academy, Martin began working in the songs BFAM and Just Some Loops in 2012. He then signed a recording contract with Spinnin' Records and finally released Error 404. On June 17, 2013, he released his solo single Animals. It was a massive hit all over the world; it reached number 1 in Belgium and the United Kingdom. It was ranked number 3 in Ireland
Working with the idols like Jay Hardway and Sidney Samson, at the end of 2013, he released his second single, Wizard.
After terminating his contract with Spinnin' Records, in 2016, launched his own label STMPD RCRDS before joining Sony Music on July 26, 2016, where he worked alongside Bebe Rexha and Carl Cox. He is a supporter of Justin Bieber.
In 2017, as per Forbes, he became the highest earning DJ with the annual revenue of $19.5 million. Though he has kept his property details undisclosed, he is estimated to be enjoying the net worth of $50 million as of 2018.
Handsome and talented, Martin is reportedly in a relationship with a Dutch model Charelle Schriek. Martin made his relationship with his model girlfriend public via his Instagram in January 2018. The couple is alleged to be dating since mid-2017.
The couple is not married yet and also are free from the mishaps of separation.
