He was born on May 21, 1978 in Harlem, New York City, New York, United States to mother Sharon Wingate. He was raised up by his grandparents. He was raised in strong religious values of his grandmother. He grew up with music in the household.

1997

Was in Prision

He was in prison when his age was 18 in the charges of robbery and that was in 1997. He was in prison for eight years that time. He was released in 2005. That time he was just finished his high school education.

Debut album Vigilante Season

He released his debut album on March 22, 2011 named Vigilante Season.  "Money Make Me Feel Better", "Where Do I Go" and "Lord Is Tryna Tell Ya Something" are his popular songs from his debut album.

Sentenced to Prision

He was sentenced to 75-years in prison that was in 2009 for several charges such as to armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault and felony murder. He is currently in prison although he claims that he is innocent.

After finishing his eight years sentence, he began working with Jim Jones, who built a group called the ByrdGang around Max B's rapping and songwriting talent.  He released his mixtape debut in 2006. He left ByrdGang in 2008.

September 22 , 2006

Felony murder charges

On 22 September 2006, according to authority, he sent his ex-girlfriend and his stepbrother to rob two men in a Holiday Inn, in Fort Lee, Northern New Jersey. In that robbery one man was killed and he was apprehended and charged for that murder.
