The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, widely known as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have welcomed their first child together. The royal couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on Monday. The baby is the first interracial baby in the British monarchy’s recent history.
The newly born royal baby is seventh in line to the British throne and is the eighth great-grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth. However, it is still not clear whether the child will receive a title like those honored on the three children of Prince William and his wife, Catherine.
In a statement, Buckingham Palace announced that Markle gave birth at 5:26 a.m. and her mother, Doria Ragland was present with the new parents at their home, Frogmore Cottage. The newly born royal baby weighed around 7 pounds 3 ounces. However, the couple claimed that they are yet to chose a name for the child.

Prince Harry looked extremely pleased while talking with the reporters outside the couple’s residence near Windsor Castle. Harry explained that he was just over the moon and that the little things are absolutely to die for.
Harry also revealed that it had been the most amazing experience he could ever possibly imagine. Talking about the health of mother and child, he said:
Mother and baby are doing incredibly well.
He also added:
How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension, and we’re both absolutely thrilled.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have ditched the decades' long tradition of not having their baby at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in Londo; the hospital where Princess Diana and Kate Middleton welcomed their children and where they posted for the world’s press on the steps outside with their newly born child.
The main reason behind moving at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor was to opt for a far more private birth.
