At the end of 2010, while Michelle was attending the concert of the boy band, The Wanted, she met its member Max George. Max George is a singer as well as a songwriter. After having romantic affairs for several months, they got engaged in June 2011 and this engagement was called off in July 2012.
From December 2012, Michelle began her new story of love life. She began dating an English TV personality Mark Wright. Mark Wright is also a TV and radio presenter and he has also established himself as a model. As a child, Michelle was enrolled at St Patrick's RC High School. As she was interested in acting since her young age, she joined Manchester School of Acting. Before she began her professional career, she worked as a check-in agent at Manchester Airport. She also worked at Selfridges in the Trafford Centre. In 2008, she made her acting debut by starring the role of Tina McIntyre in a British soap opera Coronation Street. That year she also appeared in the movie Coronation Street: Out of Africa. Next year, she starred in a British comedy franchise Red Dwarf.
