Mike Connors Died at 91, Know about his married life and children

In one of the most popular American television detective series, Mannix's title character Joe Mannix was played by none other than actor Mike Connors. In 1969, for the role in the series Mike won a Golden Globe Award. Sadly, such a legendary actor died Thursday at the age of 91. He was married to Mary Lou Willey and has two children.

Mike was a basketball player in his high school and college and was impressed by his expressive face in the basketball match, Director  William A. Wellman brought him into the film industry. Before getting engaged in basketball he also served in the USA's Air Forces during World War II. Mike debuted in the thriller movie Sudden Fear in 1952.

Mike dies at 91 after working for more than 60 years in Hollywood

Mike was engaged in the acting business since 1950 as a supporting actor in John Wayne's film Island in the sky. He appeared in dozens of awarded movies such as The Oklahoma Women and Live Fast, Die Young.   Lately, in 2007 he appeared in the TV series Two and a Half Men in the episode, Prostitutes, and Gelato.

A few weeks back, Mike was diagnosed with Leukemia, a cancer of the blood or bone marrow. He was admitted to a hospital for treatment at the Los Angeles hospital. But, he could not win the battle of the race with cancer and died on the 26th of December, 2017.

Mike married their wife Mary and is blessed with two children

Mike Connors was married to Mary Lou Willey in 1949 after dating each other for a few months. After a few years of a successful marriage, the couple welcomed their first child Matthew Gunner Connors, but unfortunately, he suffered from hallucinations when he was a child. After the severe hallucination, he was diagnosed with schizophrenia, a long-term mental disorder, and died at the age of 17.

Mike and Mary gave birth to their second child, Dana Lou Conners. Mike never had an opportunity to enjoy his son's success but did enjoy his daughter's success.

Mike married life with his long-term wife Mary

Mike and his wife Mary were together for 68 long years without any kind of disputes or separation. In his entire life, he was never linked with any other woman and is believed to be a loyal and supportive husband. His wife and daughter along with his son-in-law supported him to fight cancer.

Late Mike Connors has impressed a lot of audiences with his brilliant performance in movies and series. May his soul rest in peace.
