As a child Mike joined Stuyvesant High School. He spends most of his childhood days there and he finally graduated from there in 1985. Soon after his high school graduation, he became enrolled at Northwestern University. While he was there he also attended Theta Chi Fraternity. After graduating from Northwestern University, he joined WMAQ-AM where he worked as a sports anchor and reporter. In 1992, he joined WSCR-Radio and began serving them as a reporter and talk show host. He also worked as a weekly syndicated columnist at Copley News Service in 1994. In 1999, he joined ESPN Radio and there he began working as a host of the ESPN Radio's Mike & Mike show with Mike Golic. His net worth is said to be around $6.1M.
