Mike Tabbi is a graduate of the Rutgers University, where he received a bachelors degree in Science English and Sociology. Then after, he attended the University of Chicago Law School. During his teenage, the story of former US President Obama influences him a lot to pursue a career in journalism.
Taibbi debuted in journalism field with WCVB-TV as a reporter. He then served as an investigator for WCBS-TV and WNBC-TV in New York as well as WNAC-T in Boston. Moreover, he was also a correspondent for 48 Hours at CBS.
Additionally, Taibbi served for ABC News as a London based correspondent. In the August of 1997, Mike began reporting for NBC News for news magazine, Dateline NBC. Throughout his journalism career, Taibbi has received Edward R. Murrow Award four times.
Aside from journalism. Taibbi is the author of the book “Unholy Alliance: Working the Tawana Brawley Story”. Besides this, he has written several articles in publication including the Yankee Magazine, Cruising World, New York Time, New York Times Magazine, The Boston Globe, The Chicago Tribune, and Sports Illustrated.
Talking about his personal life, Taibbi is a married man. Taibbi and his wife Siobhan Walsh dated for a couple of years before to their marriage. The couple is now blessed with a son Matt Taibbi. It seems that there is great bonding between Mike and Siobhan, till now there are no rumors of their separation and conflict.
