Min Yoon-gi mostly known by his stage name Suga and Agust D is a South Korean songwriter, record producer, and rapper who is famous for Korean boy band Bangtan Boys (BTS). Suga debuted as a member of the K-pop band managed by Big Hit Entertainment in 2013.
Min Yoon-gi's Early Life And Education
Min Yoon-gi was born on March 9, 1993, in Buk District, Daegu, South Korea. He attended Taejeon Elementary School, Gwaneum Middle School, and later enrolled in Apgujeong High School. He also attended Global Cypher University majoring Broadcasting Performing Art.
Suga was brought up alongside his older brother, Min Junki. There is no information regarding his parents and family life.
Yoon-gi is of South Korean nationality and belongs to the Asian ethnicity.

Yoon-gi decided to become a rapper when he heard FLY by Epik High. By the age thirteen, Suga learned to write lyrics. By the age of seventeen, he worked a part-time job at a recording studio.
Yoongi was active as an underground rapper under the name Gloss before being signed. He has produced 518-062, as a part of the hip-hop crew D-Town in 2010.

Yoon-gi joined the company at the age of 20 as a music producer. He trained alongside members J-Hope and RM for three years. He made his debut as the band member with the track No More Dream from their debut single album 2 Cool 4 Skool. He has also written and produced lyrics for several tracks on all of BTS's album.
He released a free self-titled mixtape on August 15, 2016, via SoundCloud. He has released several solo songs apart from the band which is First Love, Intro: NEVER MIND, and Seesaw (Love Yourself: Answer).

Yoon-gi won his first award on Melon Music Awards (2017) as a producer. He also received the Hot Trend Award and the fifth-class Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit by President Of South Korea alongside his other band members in 2018.
He recently provided a rap feature for the song Song Request which was written by Tablo of Epik High and Suga, who also produced the track.

Suga was rumored to be dating a girl, Miji Kim; however, none of them has confirmed the news. Suga doesn't consider gender big criteria when choosing a partner; he is often labeled as either bisexual or pansexual.
As he has not opened up about his relationship status to media, we can assume that he is single and yet to be married. Likewise, there are no headlines of his past affairs and relationships.
Yoon-gi stands 5 feet and 9 inches tall and weighs 59 kg approx. His natural hair color is black although it changes according to his style and eye color is dark brown.
Yoongi can speak Japanese, and basic English except for Korean and his favorite colors are black and white. He along with RM is also an open supporter of the LGBTQ.
