It is regarded as the highest-charting debut for a female rapper. The R&B artist, who is also known for her bi-sexuality has dated Olivia Longott. Olivia has featured in the 50 Cent song, Candy Shop. Missy was in a relationship with Olivia for two years from 2002 to 2004.

Talking about Missy's current relationship status, there is not any information regarding her current boyfriend or maybe a girlfriend, but some sources claim that she is single at present. There were many rumors regarding her dating life in the past including with the American rapper Timbaland.

Back in 2011, Elliot was on a break from her professional career in the music industry due to her medical conditions. She was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism disorder, a Graves disease, which she mentioned in People magazine.

Moving towards Missy's past relationships, she has dated women more than men. The list also includes Olivia Longott. She was in a relationship with Olivia for two years from 2002 to 2004.

Before Olivia, Missy was in another homosexual relationship with an American rapper Trina, in 1997. Missy and Trina dated for over a year, and later, Elliot started dating a Basketball player whose name is not mentioned.
