Virginia began her career in journalism as a general assignment reporter with WFSB in Hartford, Connecticut. Not long after, she went on to become the head anchor and reporter of the morning news at WFSB. Later, Virginia moved to WBZ TV-4, in Boston, Massachusetts, where she worked as a news anchor and chief medical correspondent.
