Nia Long was born Nitara Carlynn Long on October 30, 1970, and is 48 years old. She was born in Brooklyn, New York City, New York of United States of America to her mother Talita and father Doughtry "Doc" Long.
Nia was born in an upper-middle-class family. Both of her parents were a teacher by profession. She is of American nationality and belongs to the black ethnicity with multiple heritage; Trinidadian, Grenadian, and Bajan.
