Despite the presence of Nicole in Khaled’s life, a news came which almost broke the Internet and the news was that the hip-hop star proposed a Trinidadian rapper Nicki Minaj in 2013. As stated by MTV, the proposal came around the time when Khaled was releasing his new song I Wanna Be With You.

This caused many fans to be suspicious and made them think that this must be a publicity stunt by Khaled. Later, during an interview with Funkmaster Flex, Nicki Minaj revealed the story not to be genuine. She said;
Khaled is my brother and Khaled was not serious with that d*** proposal, ya’ll. Please let it go. He was kidding. He’s not attracted to me; he doesn’t like me. We’re brother and sister.
Well, that was certainly a relief for Nicole.

Khaled and Nicole are now engaged, however, none of the rappers ever spoke to the media detailing their engagement.
In June 2016, while attending the BET Awards in Los Angeles, the 40-year-old DJ Khaled proudly walked the red carpet with his fiancé Nicole and you know what, Nicole was pregnant at that time.
