Olivia Cooke is an English actress best known for her role as Emma Decody in the A&E drama thriller series Bates Motel and also known for horror films The Quiet Ones. She was born on December 27, 1993, in Oldham, Greater Manchester. She is currently 25 years old.

The actress is of British nationality and belongs to white ethnicity. She is the daughter of mother, Lindsy Cooke and father John Cooke. She attended Royton and Crompton Secondary School and studied drama at Oldham Sixth Form College. She has a younger sister Eleanor.

Olivia began her career when she was at an afterschool drama program in her hometown, Oldham Theater Workshop. Then she appeared only as part of the ensemble and performed as Maria in Oldham Sixth Form College production of West Side Story.

Later, she appeared in her first and last leading role for Oldham Theater Shop, in Prom: The Musical, a remark of Cinderella and performed in One Direction Autumn Term Tour Video as a student getting a piggyback ride on Harry Styles.
