Michael David Rosenberg was born on 17th May 1984 in Brighton & Hove, East Sussex, England. He was born to father, Gerard Rosenberg, and mother, Jane and grew up along with his siblings in England.

1998

Started writing Songs

Michael David Rosenberg was interested in music from his young age. He learned classical guitar from his childhood and also started writing a song at the age of 14.

2000

Dropped High School

Dream to be a successful musician, Michael David dropped high school at the age of 16, in order to pursue a career in music and spend his time as a busker in England and Australia.

Formed Passenger

In the year 2003, Michael formed the band, Passenger as his father introduced him to Jamie Catto, ex-Faithless members through him he met Andrew Phillips, writing partner, and established a connection with IE Music label. The band broke up in 2009.

Michael David Rosenberg started his solo career after the break-up of Passenger. He started busking for a solo music career starting in Australia in 2009. He earned wide appreciation and big following and debuted his solo album, Wide Eyes Blind Love in 2009.

Michael's father introduced him to Jamie Catto, ex-Faithless members through him he met Andrew Phillips, writing partner, and established a connection with IE Music label. At the age of 16, he performed for the first time under the band name Passenger but the band broke up in 2009. 

Rosenberg moved on after the break-up and started busking for a solo music career starting in Australia in 2009. He earned wide appreciation and big breakthrough on his solo album, Wide Eyes Blind Love in 2009. He also made the semi-final in the United Kingdom and played in several shows including Turin Brakes' tenth-anniversary show at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in London.

Afterward, Michael also released his second album, Flight of the Crow in 2010, All the Little Lights in 2011, Whispers and Whispers II in 2014, Young as the Morning, Old as the Sea and The Boy Who Cried Wolf in 2016. 

After struggling for several years, Michael achieved wide recognition and love from people. His hit song, Let her go was listed top of the billboard for several weeks which earned him different awards.

Independent Music Award awarded him Best Folk/Singer-Songwriter Song in 2013, Galgalatz Israeli annual International song chart for Best Song in 2013, Nominated for Brit Award as British Singles of the Year and Ivor Novello Award for PRS for Music Performed Work in 2014. 

Moving towards his personal life, Michael David Rosenberg has kept his personal life in low.
