Neely along with his three siblings, Gaelin, Tony, and Mark, opened a barbecue restaurant in downtown Memphis in 1988. After getting success in the restaurant business, he expanded his business and opened two Bar-B-Que in Memphis and two in Nashville.
Pat, Gina, and Abraham; business partner opened a New York City restaurant Neely's Pig Parlor, which eventually changed into Neely's Barbecue Parlor in 2011.
Moreover, Pat host two shows on Food Network, Down Home with the Neelys and Road Tasted with the Neelys, appeared along with his ex-wife, Gina, starting from 2008. After the success of Down Home, Pat took over the show Road Tasted from his brother and changed to Road Tasted with the Neelys, in 2008.
