1956

Birthday of Paula

Zahn was born in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. She was born on 24 February 1956 as Paula Ann Zahn. She is the daughter of Norm Zahn and Betty Zahn. Her father is an IBM sales executor, and her mother is a schoolteacher.

1987

The starting of her career

Zahn started her career at the ABC news channel as an anchor for a weekend program that is related to health and medical issues. She then changed from anchor to co- anchor for the World News, This Morning.

1990

CBS News career

CBS offered her a job at CBS News after her work in Good Morning America. She began working at CBS in 1990 as a co- anchor and later started her own show. During a heartbreaking moment on September 11, she delivered the news as an eyewitness of the event.

1999

Fox New Channel

After working with CBS for nine years, Zahn moved to, Fox News Channel where she worked as a night news anchor. Two years later Fox News Channel uncovered her negotiating with CNN and fired her from work.

Zahn was born on February 24, 1956, as Paula Ann Zahn. During her young age she moved from one place to another, due to her father’s job, after shifting to Naperville, Illinois, she continued her studies at Stephens College in Columbia,  graduated in journalism.

Paula started working at the WBBM-TV in Chicago, as an Intern. Once she finished her course, she spent ten years working at local stations around the country. As an employee, Zahn started working with ABC News, as an anchor for a The Health Show.

From February 26, 1990, she joined CBC News and worked for a show, "Good Morning America", along with Harry Smith. Zahn reported the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France along with Tim  Carver, also the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway.

In 1999, Zahn moved to Fox News Channel,  after the nine yers of service to CBC News, Zahn worked at Fox as an anchor, months later she launched her prime time news program, The Edge with Paula Zahn.

At the end of 2001, she joined the CNN as an anchor with Aaron Brown in the coverage of the September 11 terrorist attack as she witnessed the event. 

After spending a long time in CNN, on January 9, 2009, she entered into a development deal for a true crime documentary series.

During her journalism career, Zahn interviewed Richard Cohen a New York City real estate developer and news journalist. It seems their interview made a special place of each other in their hearts, After getting close they married and gave birth to three children. Sadly, after 20 years of long relation, the couple separated. 

From her journalism career, Paula earns a good amount of salary and her current, estimated net worth is $18 million.
