Played his first game in NHL

Tough he signed a contract with Quebec Nordiques at the end of 1993; he was not able to play in the NHL till the end of 1994 due to the 1994–95 NHL lockouts. With the start of 1995, he played his first match against Philadelphia Flyers and he also made an assist in that game.

Returned back to Modo Hockey

At the end of his career, he decided to end his career where he began his ice hockey career, so he joined Modo Hockey on a one year deal and started playing with them in 2004-2005 sessions. However, he went on a surgery of his left wrist and played only 33 of Modo's 50 regular games.

Was named general manager

In 2011, he has a dramatic but successful end of his career and soon after that he was offered the assistant general manager at the Modo organization. There he worked under his long term friend, Markus Näslund.

He began playing professionally since 1990 and that was from the junior squad of Modo Hockey. He also played from the senior squad the same year and also played an important role to lead his team to glory. He has also played for Sweden several times. In 1994, he won the gold medal for the Sweden in the Winter Olympics. He has also competed in the World Cup several times. In 1995, he was named the NHL Rookie of the Year. While he was the professional player, he earned huge amount of salary and his net worth is said to be around $54 million.
