Debut on Australian under-19 cricket team

 Peter made his debut on Australian under-19 cricket team for New South Wales against Victoria in 2009. After his outstanding performance, he was enrolled in place of Brad Haddin during the team tour of the West Indies in 2012.

In 2016 he debuts for Melbourne Renegades where he ran himself out after Adam Zampa was hit on the nose off his deflection from Dwayne Bravo shot and was named as the wicketkeeper for ICC World T20.

Nevill was hit in the face by a cricket bat during the Big Bash League match between the Melbourne Renegades and Adelaide Strikers match. The bat slipped out of the hands of Brad Hodge and hit Nevill breaking his cheekbone.

Nevill international career started when he was selected for the 2015 Ashes series, where he debut with seven catches, 45 runs in the first innings and went on to score 57 runs in the second innings in his third Test at Edgbaston.

In 2016 he debuts for Melbourne Renegades where he ran himself out after Adam Zampa was hit on the nose off his deflection from Dwayne Bravo shot and was named as the wicketkeeper for ICC World T20. On November 2016 he made 179* run in a Sheffield match and raises his fame.
