Piers Morgan Accuses Dutchess Meghan Markle of Being a "Fake Social Climber"; Warns Prince Harry

Blueprince Thu Mar, 2019

The host for Good Morning Britain, Piers Morgan has accused the Dutchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle as a fake social climber in an interview on Australia's Today Show aired on Thursday 27th March 2019.

The former host of Piers Morgan Live criticized the Dutchess in an interview on Today's Show with Deborah Knight.

Piers said that Meghan Markle was a fake, who used people throughout her life to get where she wanted.

In the interview Deborah questioned,

is Meghan really fake and a piece of work as I know you've said before?

To which Piers replied,

You know what I'm sorry to have to say I'm afraid I think she is

Although some people really like her and are falling for this act I'm afraid I see a bit of hard-nosed actress.

She's been using people on her way up to what is now, of course, the top, which is marrying into the royal family.

Morgan further mentioned that he was friends with Markle before she encountered Prince Harry in 2016, and accused Meghan of "ghosting" him.

He further added,

I got to know her quite well over two year period,

We would message each other a lot, e-mail a lot.

Piers remembers a past event in London with her where,

I had a couple of pints of real ale and she had dirty martinis,

She said afterwards in the cab "I had a great time. Love to see you again." It was purely platonic I hasten to add.

He adds,

She went in that cab that night to a party Prince Harry was at and the next night she went on the date with him. I never heard from her again. Ever.

I don't like people that behave like that. It's kind of rude. It showed me that she, I'm afraid, is probably a bit of social climber.

Piers finished his answer with a warning to Prince Harry,

Good luck to Harry. I hope he knows what he's doing. If it all goes wrong don't come try crying to me. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Prior to this interview, Pier Morgan made a similar comment about Meghan Clarke on a TV show in Britain in December.

He also accused the Dutchess to be rude to the palace staff.
