Quavo Marshall joined ‘Berkmar High School Patriots’ in Lilburn, Georgia, where he played football as a quarterback. When he reached in seventh grade, he developed his interest in hip-hop music. He is a college dropped out, who started composing his own music and songs together with his cousin and nephew.

Quavo along with his nephew and cousin ‘Takeoff’ and ‘Offset’ formed the rap group Migogs. After a couple of years, he released the group's first ever mixtape, Juug Season. Next year, he released his another mixtape called No Label. He came to fame after the release of his single Versace. This song became a huge hit and was placed on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts. 

After the success of his first single, Quavo released another mixtape, No Label II, which was downloaded in great numbers immediately after its release. Later he announced that his group had decided to release an album instead of another mixtape and also signed a contract with 300 Entertainment. The group again released a song Fight Night, which was listed on XXL’s 25 Best Songs of the Year.

Two years later, Quavo's group album, ATL, finally was released with the lead single of the song, One Time. The album received a positive response from their fans and also featured guest collaborations with various rap stars like Chris Brown and Young Thug. He continued his work and released another mixtape, Back to the Bandon although his group member Offset was imprisoned on account of the ‘Georgia Southern University incident. 

Quavo released his second album, Culture, which became number one on the US Billboard 200 charts. The album includes three songs T-Shirt, Bad and Boujee, and Slippery. It also topped the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, becoming Migos' first number-one album on both charts.
