Quin Snyder is a basketball coach from the United States. He is best known for being the head coach of the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He also coached Missouri and Duke for more than half a decade.

Quin was born and raised in Mercer Island, Washington. There he attended Mercer Island High School and he earned his high school graduation in 1985. As a high school player, he was named state player of the year two times.
Professional Life & Success in Basketball
As Mercer Island High School won the 1985 state championship, it was ranked No. 1 in the USA Today's high school polls. Later on, he joined Duke University with a major in philosophy and political science and he finally earned his bachelor’s degree from there in 1989.
There he played as a point guard at the Duke Blue Devils men's basketball team for about four years. At his senior year, he was named as the team captain and honored as an Academic All-American. He also studied MBA at the Duke Fuqua School of Business.
In 1992, he joined the Los Angeles Clippers not as a player but as an assistant coach. He served them for about a year and then he joined Duke as its assistant coach. In 1999, Duke became the ACC tournament champion. In 1999, he joined University of Missouri Tigers men's basketball team as its head coach.
He took a year break in 2006 but after he received an offer from Austin Toros (D-League) he joined them as it's a head coach and in 2009, he was named the NBA D-League Coach of the Year. After a successful year in Atlanta Hawks as its assistant coach, he joined Utah Jazz in 2014.
