He is best known for being the 49th Lieutenant Governor of California. After she got married to him, she changed her name to Kimberly Guilfoyle Newsom. They were happily married; however, in January 2005 she filed for divorce from Newsom and the reason was the strain of a bi-coastal marriage. They finally called off this married on the 28th of February 2006.
