Ramona Singer was born on November 17, 1956, in Long Island, New York, to father Bohdan Mazur and mother Veronika Mazur.
She was raised there by her parents along with her three siblings; two sisters, Sonya Mazur and Tanya Pettyjohn, and a younger brother Bohdan Mazur, who died in July 2017.
She is of American nationality and belongs to mixed ethnicity with Polish descent.
She attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York where she completed her graduation with a BS degree in Marketing.

Moving towards the personal life of Ramona Singer, we know that she is a married woman. She tied the knot with a businessperson Mario Singer on March 14, 1992.
They renewed their vows later in 2010 at The Pierre in New York City and their wedding was documented on the Bravo hit show.

Brother Bohdan Mazur's Drug Addiction and Death
Ramona Singer revealed in a statement to Us Weekly in early August 2017 that her younger brother Bohdan Mazur had passed away three weeks earlier.
She told the outlet at the time,
My brother just died. No one knows this. He died about three weeks ago, my younger brother, and we weren’t close anymore.
Bohdan had written a tell-all memoir detailing his drug use in 2014. He had pleaded guilty to possession of 27 grams of cocaine in November 1998 and sentenced to three years in jail.
However, he was released in February 1999, just after spending two and a half months in prison.
