Reality Television Star, Ryan Serhant Single or Married? What About His Gay Rumor? Details

Ryan Serhant is a real estate salesperson best known for his appearance on reality TV show aired on Bravo, Million Dollar Listing New York. The TV personality cum real estate salesperson appeared in the first season of the show along with Fredrik Eklund, who recently had his twins with gay partner Derek Kaplan. 

Ryan, currently 33-years old, first appeared on TV in 2007 as Evan Walsh in the TV show As the World Turns. Moreover, he is also an employee at Nest Seekers International which is one of the fastest growing real estate firms based in NYC. He has also appeared on numerous TV shows like Watch What Happens: Live, Marie, Bethenny etc. and has also worked in TV channels like FOX, ABC, and CNN.

Is Ryan Serhant gay?

There have been many rumors about Ryan being a gay. However, it is a false rumor, and he is completely straight and is currently married to a beautiful woman whom we will talk about down below.

The rumors might have been triggered after one of his co-stars Fredrik Eklund announced that he had twins via surrogacy with Derek Kaplan. Moreover, Ryan also said that he was a supporter of gay marriage. This also might have been a reason many started to assume that he is a gay.

It is an unfortunate yet good news for many of Ryan's fan out there that he is currently happily married to wife Emilia Bechrakis. Emilia is also a reality TV contestant and lawyer, who has also appeared on Million Dollar Listing New York.

They have a very romantic backstory as Ryan proposed her on 14th Sep 2014, and to do so, he shut down the entire Times Square.  

After almost 2 years of getting engaged, the duo decided to tie the knot and got married on 7th July 2016. The wedding ceremony took place in Corfu, Greece in a Greek Church, as Emilia is also originally from Greece.

Moreover, during the ceremony, Ryan also converted his religion to Greek Orthodox. Ryan and Emilia are currently together, and they often share romantic pictures of them on their Instagram page. Recently they went to Greece again to celebrate their first marriage anniversary.
