Orenthal James “O.J.” Simpson is professional retired American Football player, broadcaster, and actor. Apart from being American Football player, he was an aspiring track athlete. He is called “Juice” as a play on “O.L.” a common abbreviation for “orange juice”. It refers to the colloquial synonym for electrical power hence a powerful athlete.

According to his birth date of July 9, 1947( his current age  is 69  years old) He has good record in NFL, he is the fastest player to gain 1,000 rushing yards in season: 1,025 in 7 games in 1973 and 1,005 in 7 games I 1975( tied with Terrell Davis) and Fastest player to gain 2,000 rushing yards in seasons:2,003 in 14 games in 1973.

He had a successful film career with parts in films such as the television mini-series Roots ( 1977), and the dramatic motion picture The Klansman (1874), The Cassandra Crossing( 1976), Capricorn One(1978), the comedic Back to the Beach(1987) and the Naked Gun trilogy (1988, 1991, 1994). Besides acting, he also worked as a commentator for Monday Night Football and The NFL on NBC. He is the net worth of $250,000.

He married Marguerite L. Whitley (June24, 1967). Together,they had three children: first daughter name is Arnelle L.Simpson, and second daughter Jason L Simpson and third daughter Aaren Lashone. He, however, divorced Marguerite in 1979.

His personal life was full of drama and tragedy. He married Brown on February 2nd, 1985. The couple had two kids Sydney Brooke Simoson and Justin Ryan Simpson. The marriage lasted for seven years.  Brown filed for the divorce on February 25, 1992. He pleaded no contest to spousal abuse of 1989 against the spouse Brown.

He was found liable in civil court for the deaths of his former wife Brown Simpson and Goldman and ordered to pay $33.5 million in punitive and compensatory damage to their families. Back in 2007, Simpson was convicted of armed robbery, kidnapping, and 10 additional charges for an unrelated incident, as reported by CNN. He had appealed for a new trial in 2015. He is currently serving  33 years in a prison.
