Ricky Martin and Husband Jwan Yosef Welcomes First Child, a Baby Girl

Congratulations are in order for Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef! The Menudo singer and his loving husband have secretly welcomed their first child, a baby girl, together.

The couple took to Instagram on Monday, December 31, to announce the birth of the newest addition to the family, with sharing a photo of their newborn daughter as her proud fathers hold her tiny hands.

Through the post, the songster, 47, revealed the name of his little princess. He captioned the photo both in Spanish and English.

We are beyond happy to announce that we have become parents to a beautiful and healthy baby girl, Lucia Martin-Yosef. It has been a special time for us and we cant wait to see where this stellar baby will take us. Both her beautiful brothers and me and [Jwan] have fallen in love with Lucia.

As we previously reported, the couple confirmed earlier this year that they became married. The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story star told E! News on January 10,

I’m a husband, but we’re doing a heavy party in a couple of months, I’ll let you know. We exchanged vows, and we’ve swear [sic] everything, and we’ve signed all the papers that we needed to sign, prenups and everything.

Ricky and Jwan, who began dating in 2016, had announced their engagement in November 2016, while appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. (hosted by Ellen DeGeneres).

The Grammy-winning singer has also twin sons Valentino and Matteo, 9, from his previous relationship.
