In 1932, Rosa got married to Raymond Parks. Raymond Parks was a barber. They were together into this married life for about four decades but they were childless. This married life ended in 1977 because of Raymond Park's death. They have happily married spouses. Besides this married life there are no rumors about her extra affairs.
After Rosa's parents got divorced, she began living with her mother in Pine Level. She was raised by her maternal grandparents and mother. She pursued her primary education till she was aged 12 years old and then she quit school to take care of her mother and grandmother. But at the age of 20, she completed her high school graduation. She was active as a civil rights activist since the end of 1943. During that time, she joined Civil Rights Movement. She joined the Montgomery chapter of the NAACP as its secretary. She served in this position till 1957. On the 1st of December 1955, she boarded the Cleveland Avenue bus and sat in an empty seat in the first row of back seats. After her driver, James F. Blake ordered her to give up her seat but she refused his request. Later he called the police and she was arrested. In 1980, she founded Rosa L. Parks Scholarship Foundation. At the end of the 1980s, she also founded Rosa and Raymond Parks Institute for Self Development. She founded this organization with Elaine Eason Steele. At the end of 2005, she died at her residence in Detroit. The actual figure about her net worth and salary was unknown.
