On 24th of September 1977, Rush got married to Roxy Maxine McNeely. Roxy is a sales secretary at radio station WHB. They were happily married, however, with the start of 1980 Roxy filed for divorce citing incompatibility. They finally dissolved their married life on 10th of July 1980.
On 19th of December 1982, Rush got married for the second time in his life and that was with Michelle Sixta Wennerholm. Michelle was a college student while she got married to Rush. Michelle Sixta is a former usherette at the Kansas City Royals Stadium Club. This married life also came to an end in 1990.
In 1990, Rugh met Marta Maranda Fitzgerald. Marta is an aerobics instructor and they first met each other on the online service CompuServe. They began dating since then and they finally got married on 27th of May 1994. This married lasted longer than his previous marriages but on 11th of June 2004, they announced that they got separated and they finally got divorced on 21st of December 2004.
In 2007, Rush was seen with Kathryn Rogers having romantic love affairs with her. Kathryn Rogers is a party planner. After dating each other for about three years, they got engaged with the start of 2010 and they got married on 5th of June 2010.
Rush was an avid footballer when he was in Missouri Central High School. He graduated from there in 1969. While he was still a high school student, he made his radio debut in 1967. Those days, he used his name as Rusty Sharpe. However, after completing his high school graduation his father forced him to pursue his higher education and then he quit his radio job. But he was interested in radios program than any other thing in his life at that time and then he dropped out of Southeast Missouri State University. In 1972, he joined AM radio as a music disc jockey. The following year, he joined KQV however; he was also fired from there within a year. On July 31, 2016, he signed a new contract with iHeartMedia to extend his radio program to 2020.
Rush Limbaugh who is regarded as the king of conservative talk radio is also a famous author. He has a total of dozen of books to his name. Lately, he brought his 12th paperwork "The Incredible Adventures of Rush Revere: Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims..." on to the market on 31st October 2017.
