In 1997, Catz got married to Gal Tirosh. As a loving husband and wife, they have already welcomed two children together both sons named Jonathan and Daniel. It's been about two decades they have been married and they are still strongly bonded into this married life. Her nationality is American and she has Jewish ethnicity.
After she moved to Brookline, Massachusetts at the age of 6, Catz joined Brookline High School and she also graduated from there. After her high school, she joined University of Pennsylvania and she finally earned her bachelor's degree from the Wharton School from there in 1983. She also attended University of Pennsylvania Law School and earned her J.D. from in 1986. That year, she was hired by Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. She served them as a banker. In the early 1994, she was named their Senior Vice President and she held this position till February 1997. In February 1997, she was promoted to the post of Managing Director and she remained in this post till March 1999. In the early 1999, she was offered a job at Oracle Corporation and she finally joined them in April 1999. In October 2001, she was named in a member of the company's Board of Directors and then in 2004 she became the President of Oracle Corporation. She also served as the company's Chief Financial Officer for about three years from 2005. In the early 2011, she was named the Co-President and Chief Financial Officer. On 18th of September 2014, she was promoted to the post of Chief Executive of Oracle Corporation after Larry Ellison step down from that position. She has been earning the annual salary of US$53.2 million and she is said to have the net worth of US$525 million.
