Sam Role Secretly Married Fiance Chris Wise After Neil Bowlus Divorce
Sam Role and Chris Wise are officially husband and wife! The Married at First Sight alum had already become married with her fiancé, Chris Wise, last year.
The television personality, 33, confirmed the nuptials to Us Weekly on Wednesday, January 16, saying that she tied the knot with her Chris secretly. She also revealed why the couple kept their marriage under wraps.
Sam told the publication that "After a very public marriage" and "heartbreaking divorce", she "didn’t want to carry out another relationship in the public eye".
She added,
Chris and I met privately and quickly fell in love. It only felt right to get married and keep it to ourselves. I signed up to marry a stranger and have it documented — Chris, however, did not.
The actress continued,
But with the release of my new digital series, Love At First Baby, I knew I had to be as honest and vulnerable about my marriage as I was on my journey to try to get pregnant. Feels good to finally share it all!
As previously reported, in January 2018, the Lifetime personality announced her engagement to Chris, with sharing a beautiful photo of the engaged couple from the romantic proposal on Instagram. She appeared to show off her stunning diamond ring in the picture.

Two months later, the reality star took to Instagram to announce that she and her fiance were expecting their first child, sharing a photo of herself cradling her baby bump.

The pair welcomed a baby girl in September 2018. They have named their daughter Isabella.
