Samantha began her meteorologist career as an intern at FOX TV station KRIV. She then served as a meteorologist for Good Morning Arizona at KTVK/Phoenix in 1989. As a talented lady, she worked there for several years.

After serving at KTVK/Phoenix for more than a decade, she joined CBS O&O KPIX in 2001 and she served them as a Chief Meteorologist for the next six years. In 2007, she joined The Weather Channel and began serving them as the co host of the show, Weekend View.
