Stand-up comedian Sarah Silverman and her longtime boyfriend Michael Sheen, have parted ways after enjoying a romantic relationship for four long years, multiple sources have confirmed.
Sarah took to Twitter to announce the split on Monday afternoon and in the post, she borrowed the breakup terminology coined by Gwyneth Paltrow announcing that she and the Welsh actor had “consciously uncoupled” over Christmas.
Here's the post, check it out:
The great @michaelsheen & I consciously uncoupled over Christmas. I mean, not “over Christmas” - like that wasn’t the fight that ended it. No fight. We just live in different countries & it got hard. Felt we should just tell y’all so u stop askin, “How’s Michael/How’s Sarah?”

Sarah jokingly used the phrase after it was first used by Gwyneth to announce her divorce from Coldplay’s Chris Martin in 2015.
But while Gwyneth initially cited “irreconcilable differences” for her separation from Chris, it seems that there’s no such conflict between Sarah and Michael.
Instead, she confirmed that their split was due to the difficulties of living in different countries, with Sarah based in L.A. and Sheen in Wales.
