Time for a sorry! Sean "Diddy" Combs reached out to Alex Rodriguez and apologized for writing a "thirsty" comment on a photo of his fiancee, Jennifer Lopez.
While appearing on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club on Wednesday, April 9, Lopez, 49, revealed that the rapper, 49, apologized for what he did.
She told the show host DJ Envy, along with Charlamagne tha God and Angela Yee, "He wrote Alex after [commenting]."
She added,
He was like, ‘I didn’t mean anything by it. I have nothing but respect for you guys. I’m so happy for you guys.’ We were together so many years ago. It’s just like … we were kids, you know?
As previously reported, in January, Diddy made headlines after he writing "OMG" with a heart eyes emoji on a songstress' picture in which she showed off her abs wearing a sports bra and yoga pants.
The former MLB player, 43, did not directly reply to Diddy's comment but he left a loving message in the comments section.
Featuring a heart, a baseball and a checkmark emoji, he wrote at the time, "Lucky me."
Lopez said on The Breakfast Club host that she was not surprised by the reaction of Alex. She quipped, "He doesn’t play. He’s a crazy Dominican. Do not disrespect that man."
Diddy and Lopez dated from 1999 to 2001. Following the split, the songstress involved in relationships with Casper Smart, Ben Affleck, Marc Anthony, with who she shares twins Max and Emme, 11.
She eventually started an affair with Rodriguez in February 2017 and just last month they became engaged. However, the couple recently opened up that they are in no hurry for the wedding.
