Seymour Hersh has been married to love of his life Elizabeth Sarah Klein since the late 1950s. They got married in 1958. They are still bonded as a loving husband and wife and there is no any sign of them getting divorced. His nationality is American and he has mixed European ethnicity.
Seymour received his Masters degree in history from University of Chicago. Before he got enrolled at University of Chicago Law School, he worked at Walgreens. After he quit University of Chicago Law School because of his low grades, he joined City News Bureau in 1959. There he worked as a police reporter and that was the beginning of his journalism career. In the early 1960s, he joined United Press International where he was named the correspondent in South Dekota. In 1963, he began working for the Associated Press where he was named a Chicago and Washington correspondent. In 1972, he joined The New York Times. There he worked as a reporter for the Washington bureau for about three years. In 1983, he authored a book titled The Price of Power: Kissinger in the Nixon White House. For being an author of this book, he won National Book Critics Circle Awards in 1983. He is now aged 79 years old. His net worth is in millions.
