CNN World report’s best news award winner Amin has been keeping her personal profile low. There is no any information related to her love affairs and married life. It is said that she is living the single life these days.
Amin completed her secondary education from British International Schools. She also attended American University from where she earned her Master’s degree in television journalism. After that she began her career as a radio DJ. In 1994, she joined Egypt’s state television Nile TV. There she worked as a news anchor and correspondent. Within few period of time, she was promoted to the post of deputy head. In 2000, she joined CNN where she worked as a news broadcaster and news correspondent. In the Egyptian Revolution of 2011, she denied to cover the news about Tahrir protests. Nile TV only allowed her to broadcast the news about the pro-Mubarak ones, so she resigned from this post on 3rd of February 2011.
