Shandi Finnessey was born as Shandi Ren Finnessey on June 9, 1978, in Florissant, Missouri, United States, to parents Patrick Finnessey and Linda Finnessey.
She was raised along with her three siblings; brothers Shane Finnessey, Paul Finnessey and Damion Finnessey.

Shandi then entered the entertainment industry; she made her film debut with the Syfy film Sharktopus in 2010. She has since appeared in three more movies; Garbage, Bachelorette Party Massacre and Piranhaconda.
