Shuntaro Torigoe was born on 13th March, 1940 in Ukiha, Fukuoka, Japan. He is a recognized Japanese Journalist and political activist. He Belongs to Japanese nationality and his Ethnicity is not available. He has done his graduation from Kyoto University. After completing his graduation he started working as a reporter at Mainichi Shimbn. While working at Mainichi he went to Iran-Iraq war on the front line which was courageous work and become first Japanese journalist to be in such thing.
After giving 24 years at Mainichi, he left and joins TV Asahi, where he worked as a chief editor. On the other part of his life, Shuntaro is also a political activist. In 2015, he became active in Opposition to collective security legislation and took part in demonstrations at the National Diet Building.
In 2005, Shuntaro was affected by stage IV colorectal cancer. He was under treatment for several years and later on with his experience he published Cancer Patient book.
