Breslin showed his talent from his toddler age. Spencer was brought up along with his elder brother, Ryan Breslin and a younger sister, Abigail Breslin.
Although his family was not interested in acting industry, Spencer started his career in acting. He worked in more than 50 commercials for McDonald’s, Life cereal, and for other different products.
By the time he was four, he started his TV debut Soul Man, as a child actor, Dan Aykroyd. He then appeared as the guest star on several shows including Law & Order. Further, he featured in Stephen King’s Storm of the Century.
In the next year, while Spencer was eight, he starred in a cult fantasy comedy-drama film Disney’s The Kid, as a Chubby.
Moreover, he appeared in the "Elf" as well as played a romantic role in the comedy movie, The Santa Clause 2: The Mrs. Clause where he shared a screen with actor Tim Allen.
Breslin further featured in various movies and dramas such as the sequel of The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, Curtis the Elf, a sci-fi thriller "The Happening" along with superb actor Mark Wahlberg, the movie hit the box office with $163 million.
