Australian born actor Steve Peacocke rose to fame after portraying his role as Darryl Braxton in an Australian television soap opera Home and Away which was premiered on Seven Network, an Australian commercial free-to-air television network. He was born on October 30, 1981, in Dubbo, New South Wales as the son of Gareth Peacocke and Sylvia Peacocke. He grew up in his birthplace together with his family.
When Peacocke was 18 years old, he worked as a jackaroo in Bourke and for this work, he received $3 per hour. After a year, he joined the University of Newcastle, where he studied communications. While he was a student at the university, he had a keen interest in rugby, however, he became unsuccessful because of injuries.
