Styles P was interested in music since he was a child. He has been active in hip hop since 1994. That year, he co-founded the hip hop group, The Lox along with his mates Sheek Louch and Jadakiss. As a musical group, they performed in several shows. They also gave many street performances and then finally on the 13th of January 1998 they released their debut album, Money, Power & Respect.
