Pichai was previously the Product Chief at Google. Since 10 August 2015 he has been the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Google Inc. Before entering into Google , he used to work as an engineer and did product management at Applied Materials and in management consulting at McKinsey & Company.
In 2004, Pichai joined Google leading the product management and innovation efforts for Google Chrome, Chrome OS, and Google Drive. Android was added to the list of Google products by Pichai on 13 March 2013. After being selected on 10 August 2015 for the CEO of Google Inc, he walked into the position on 24 October 2015.
The successful business executive is originally from India but holds the American nationality and Tamil-Indian ethnicity. He married his wife Anjali Pichai who was his same-year classmate at IIT Kharagpur and she is a Chemical Engineer. The couple together has two children and the family is living in Los Altos Hills. With the salary of $ 150 million, Pichai has a staggering net worth of $ 650 million.
