On 26th of May 2001, Tamar got married to Darrell Allamby. Darrell is a music producer as well as a songwriter. They got married after being in love for about a year. However, this married life didn't last more than two years and they got divorced on 7th of February 2003.
Few months later, Tamar was seen with Vincent Herbert. Vincent is also a songwriter and record producer. After being in love for about half a decade, they got married on 27th of November 2008. As a married couple, they welcomed their first child in 2013.
Tamar was interested in singing since she was child. Having a sweet voice, she began singing as a toddler. All of her siblings also had a great voice and as a musical group they signed a recording contract with Arista Records in 1989. They named their group, R&B female group The Braxtons. A year later in 1990, they released their debut single, Good Life. They released their debut album, So Many Ways in 1996. In 2000, she began working on her solo career and finally released her self-titled debut studio album, Tamar on 21st of March 2000. Recently in 2015, she took part in Dancing with the Stars. Her net worth is said to be around $10 million.
