Terry Wayne Fator or Terry Fator is a famous American ventriloquist, impressionist, comedian, and singer
Terry Fator was born on June 10, 1965, to his father Jeptha Wesley, and mother Edith Marie Clifton (later Marie Sligh). He belongs to the White ethnicity and holds American nationality.
He was born and raised in Dallas Texas with his two siblings: an older brother Jephtha Jr. and a younger sister Deborah. Terry Fator's cousin Chris Sligh is also a popular singer, and an American Idol season six finalist.
Fator, who went to Liberty University in Lynchburg Virginia, says that he first encountered Ventriloquism when he was in 5th grade. It was while he was searching through the school's library that he bumped into a book Ventriloquism for Fun and Profit by Paul Winchell.
His first puppet was a gift from his mother when he was 18, the money for the puppet was saved by his mother for three years. Before that, he had been using a Willie Talk dummy from Sears.
Terry Fator was also very interested in singing thus, he also sings and impersonates other people in his performance. He was also the lead singer of a band named Freedom Jam during 1987-88.
Disheartened by the low audience, Terry Fator almost switched his career. It is when his family members encouraged him, he competed in America's Got Talent.

Fator has been married thrice and has no child. He met his first girlfriend and later wife Melinda when he was still in the band. They married in January 1991 and later divorced in 2010.
A day after the divorce finalization with his ex-wife, Terry married his on-stage assistant Taylor Makakoa (a.k.a. Taylor Dew). While still married to Taylor, Terry Fator proposed to his now-wife Angie Fiore on stage, in front of his then-wife Taylor. Taylor and Terry divorced in late August 2015 and married Angie on September 4, 2015.
Though Fator's exact height is not known, he is a tall and good-looking man. His body measurements are also unknown.
