Hazard was born in La Louviere, Belgium to Carine and Thierry. Hazard grew up in Braine-Le-Comte. His parents were professional footballers and Thorgan's father later became sports teacher to his four children; Eden, Kylian, Ethan Thorgan including Throgan himself. He is in such a form today and it is all because of his parent's support and encouragement.

Thorgan Hazard pursued his career at the early childhood, at the age of five; playing for hometown club Royal Stade Brainois. Further, he followed his brother Eden Thorgan to Club Tubize. After spending four years at the club, Thorgan joined French club Lens.
