Tim first met love of his life Elisa Taylor while she was at Rutgers University. They fell in love with each other and began dating each other as boyfriend and girlfriend. This romantic love affair entered into the married life in 1991. They are happy to be each other’s loving spouse.
As a child Tim was more interested in sports and athletes than acting. He was active in basketball and baseball but while he was attending his high school, he also appeared in the school play Oliver!. Upon his high school graduation, he joined Le Moyne College with a major in business and philosophy. He finally earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from there in 1985. Though he dreamed to pursue his career in law, he was fascinated in acting and film industries in his later stage of his life and then he attended Syracuse University and Rutgers University where he studied fine arts and directing. He made his professional acting debut in 1995 by starring the role of Lawrence Deon in the TV series SeaQuest DSV. Next year, he made his feature film debut by portraying the role of Becky's husband in segment - '1952' in the movie If These Walls Could Talk. He got his rise in fame after he began playing the role of Dr. Paul Thomas in the TV series Party of Five. His annual salary is high and his net worth is $2 Million.
